This robot vacuum does come with the XL self-empty base, which is a larger base that can last a bit longer before needing to be emptied. It still is quoted as lasting for about 60 days before it fills up. Of course, this is going to vary based on how often you clean your home with the vacuum, and how much dirt and debris it picks up. It does also include Shark’s Ultra Clean. Which basically does two passes over your floors. Allowing it to pick up a lot of the stubborn dirt, dust and hair that other vacuums might leave behind. It’ll clean in one pattern, then clean the second time in a criss-cross pattern. To make sure that it does not miss a thing. Definitely a nice feature to have. Shark has included advanced 360-degree sensors on this robot so that you can precisely clean your home while also avoiding walls, furniture and other objects. So you won’t need to worry about this robot vacuum running into the walls and getting all sorts of scuff marks on it. Finally, the AV2511AE does use LiDAR for navigation. This is great as it will be able to fully map out your home and it won’t miss any spots. It also helps with the two-pass cleaning feature that this robot vacuum tends to use for its Ultra Clean feature. Definitely nice to have that on-board here.
