Detailed Galaxy Z Fold 3 specs surfaced ahead of launch
This information comes from WinFuture.de, and the source shared a rather detailed spec sheet. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will feature a 7.6-inch 2208 x 1768 Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display, it seems. That panel will be protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus, and we’re looking at a 120Hz refresh rate display here. The secondary display will measure 6.2 inches, based on this information, and it will be a 2260 x 830 Super AMOLED panel. That display will likely also be a 120Hz panel, though that is not mentioned here. The Snapdragon 888 will fuel the phone, while the device will offer 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. On top of that, Samsung will include 256GB of 512GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage, depending on the variant you choose to get. Do note that this information is likely for Europe, variants in other markets may differ a bit.
Three 12-megapixel cameras will sit on the back
There will be three cameras on the back, three 12-megapixel ones. The main 12-megapixel camera (f/1.8 aperture, 78-degree FoV, OIS, 1.4um pixel size) is a wide-angle one. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera (f/2.2 aperture, 123-degree FoV, 1.12um pixel size) will also be included, as will a 12-megapixel telephoto one (f/2.4 aperture, OIS, 1.0um pixel size). A 4-megapixel camera will sit under the phone’s main display (f/1.8 aperture, 2.0um pixel size), while a 10-megapixel camera (1.22um pixel size, f/2.2 aperture) will sit on the cover display. The leak says that the phone will support 8K recording as well. A fingerprint scanner will be included, on the side, while stereo speakers will be a part of the offering as well. Dolby Atmos support is mentioned, and the same goes for the IPX8 rating for water and dust resistance. The phone is said to offer 2x nano SIM card slots, and an eSIM as well. 5G support will be included, needless to say, and Bluetooth 5.0 will be supported. This is quite odd, we expected Bluetooth 5.2 here.
A 4,400mAh battery will be included, along with both wired & wireless charging support
A 4,400mAh battery is mentioned, and it will support fast wired charging, and also wireless charging. The phone will arrive in Phantom Black, Phantom Green, and Phantom Silver variant, based on this information. The phone will measure 158.2 x 128.1 x 6.4mm when open, and 158.2 x 67.1 x 14.4mm when closed. It will weigh 271 grams.
