The latest Android 13 beta for the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is available for enrolled users in South Korea with the firmware version ending with ZVJE. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is also picking up the update in Samsung’s home country. The firmware identifier for the clamshell foldable is ZVJF. Both releases focus on bug fixes and performance improvements. The changelog for the Galaxy Note 20 duo mentions a fix for the Tmap app crashing issue. The app crashed when opened in split screen mode. This release also fixes the camera memory leak issue and a black screen problem when playing Netflix videos in a pop-up window. The issue with the fingerprint unlocking animation not appearing on the lockscreen has been fixed as well. Additionally, Samsung has fixed the bugs that caused the camera to crash when shooting in Night mode and consume a lot of power when taking zoom shots. The latest release still contains some known bugs, though. These include issues with TeamViewer Remote Control, fast charging indicators, and more. The Galaxy Z Flip 3, meanwhile, is receiving a fix for the audio not coming through on Galaxy Buds when the audio output is switched on the media panel. Problems with swipe gestures on the cover screen, camera autofocus, Signal app (restarts on receiving a notification), super slow motion editor, and media playback on Flex Mode have also been fixed.

The Galaxy Note 20 and Flip 3 will get the stable Android 13 update next month

Samsung has been beta-testing Android 13 and One UI 5.0 since early August. It has released beta updates for dozens of device models. The company also opened beta programs in several countries, including India, China, Germany, South Korea, the UK, and the US. The availability varies for each device, though. The stable Android 13 update rolled out to the Galaxy S22 series earlier this week. Samsung is now preparing the update for other models. The Galaxy Note 20 series and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 will get it next month, the company recently confirmed. The Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and the Galaxy S20 series will also receive Android 13 in November. We will let you know when the rollouts begin.
