By the looks of it, this doesn’t appear to be a lengthy delay. Perhaps the developers have discovered some bugs in the early beta build and delayed the rollout to fix them. The One UI 4.0 beta program for the Galaxy S21 series should still open in the coming days, at least in South Korea. Other regions should also launch the program within this month.

One UI 4.0 beta is just around the corner

Samsung has been teasing the One UI 4.0 beta program for the Galaxy S21 series since July. The company last week confirmed that the first public beta will roll out this month, without revealing the exact date. An official earlier this week told users in South Korea that the rollout will begin on September 9th. But due to reasons best known to Samsung, the rollout has now been delayed. While we don’t know when the program will open, it appears we aren’t too far off. One UI 4.0 beta for the Galaxy S21 series seems to be just around the corner. The said official had revealed that the beta program will run through October 29th. This delay may push the end date back by a few days, but by the looks of it, the stable Android 12 update could hit the Galaxy S21 units in the first half of November. The One UI 4.0 beta should also be available to Galaxy S21 users in the US in the coming days. We will let you know as soon as we have any official communication from Samsung. We will also be keeping an eye on developments regarding the opening of the One UI 4.0 beta program for other Galaxy smartphones. The Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20, and the Galaxy Z foldable series should all get the taste of the beta program. Samsung may also open One UI 4.0 beta for some mid-rangers.
