The Galaxy S22 & S22+ may utilize old 10MP selfie cameras
Based on the provided info, Samsung will once again utilize 10-megapixel units inside the Galaxy S22 and S22+. We’re not sure if the sensors will be identical, but chances are they will. Once thing is for sure, the images will be the same in resolution as the ones the Galaxy S10, S20, and S21 phones provide. The Galaxy S21 Ultra, on the other hand, will offer different hardware. That handset is tipped to utilize a 40-megapixel selfie camera. Needless to say, this sensor will be a lot larger than the one inside the Galaxy S22 and S22+. Samsung is, however, planning to upgrade the rear camera setup on the Galaxy S22 and S22+. According to rumors, both phones will utilize a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto unit (3x optical zoom).
The Galaxy S22 Ultra will offer considerably different camera hardware
The Galaxy S22 Ultra will have an entirely different hardware, including a 108-megapixel main camera, a periscope lens, and so on. The devices may utilize the same telephoto and ultrawide cameras, though, we’ll see. All three of these phones are tipped to launch in February next year. If Jon Prosser’s info is accurate, they will become official on February 8, about a month after the Galaxy S21 FE. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a somewhat different design in comparison to the Galaxy S22 and S22+. The S22 and S22+ will resemble the Galaxy S21 and S21+. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will include a different rear camera setup and design, not to mention it will ship with an S Pen stylus and a dock for it. In other words, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is basically coming to replace the Galaxy Note series phones.
