This revelation was made by GalaxyClub. We have previously learned that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be sold in a “Dark Red” variant. So it seems like Samsung wants to introduce a couple of exciting new color options for the upcoming flagship. There are a couple of variations of green currently available on Samsung’s product lineup. However, it’s unclear which version Samsung will use for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Based on what we know so far, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available in standard black, Dark Red, white, and green variants.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra will include S Pen support

The Galaxy S22 Ultra will be the largest of the three Galaxy flagships, sporting a 6.8-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. More recently, a tempered glass screen protector of the phone was leaked, revealing how the screen could be curved. The leak likely originated from a third-party accessories manufacturer. However, it gives us a good idea of what to expect from Samsung’s early 2022 flagship. One of the eagerly anticipated aspects of the Galaxy S22 Ultra is S-Pen compatibility. Multiple leaks have confirmed the existence of this feature. This is particularly exciting for fans of the Galaxy Note lineup. Samsung decided to forego the release of the Note flagship for 2021. However, Samsung’s mobile chief Koh Dong-jin said earlier this year that there may be a Galaxy Note device coming in 2022. As for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, it will also offer a 108-megapixel primary rear camera, backed by a 12-megapixel ultrawide, and two 12-megapixel telephoto cameras. The Ultra variant will also have a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. The smartphone will pack the octa-core Snapdragon 898 chipset in some regions, including the U.S. Meanwhile, a majority of the international markets will get the variant with the Exynos 2200 chipset. Unlike in the years past, the Exynos variant of the Galaxy flagship is generating quite a bit of buzz. This is because the chipset uses a GPU based on AMD’s RDNA2 architecture, bringing advanced gaming features to the mobile platform.
