The Galaxy S23 Ultra won’t include symmetrical bezels after all

He said that the bezels that CAD renders suggested are not accurate. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will still have a “narrow forehead” and a “wide chin” like the Galaxy S22 Ultra. He also added that the “laser focus sensor and 2x lens of the camera part are not flat”, there’s still a “little bulge”. As a reminder, the Galaxy S23 Ultra CAD-based renders did surface quite recently. They suggested a thinner “chin” than on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Well, it seems like that’s not happening. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will be even more similar to the Galaxy S22 Ultra than we thought. That’s a shame, as the Galaxy S23 Ultra really looked extremely sleek in CAD-based renders. Do note that those renders are probably still quite accurate, save for the bezels.

The device will actually be really similar to the Galaxy S22 Ultra

The Galaxy S23 Ultra will not be easy to differentiate from the Galaxy S22 Ultra, based on what we know thus far. Its rear camera design will be basically the same, and that goes for basically every other part of the phone. A display camera hole will still be included, and centered, while the display will be curved. The top and bottom parts of the phone will be mostly flat. The front and back sides of the phone will be symmetrical, while all the physical buttons will sit on the right side. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to arrive in Q1 next year. It was expected to arrive in February, but a recent rumor said that it may launch sooner than that. So, a January launch is also a possibility. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 may fuel the Galaxy S23 Ultra in all markets. That doesn’t seem to be set in stone just yet, but it’s a possibility. Last year, only Europe had to deal with an Exynos chip.
