European price tags for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 get revealed
This information comes from ‘Snoopy’, who shared the info via Twitter. He posted price tags for both storage variants of the two devices. These are price tags for Europe, by the way, but you can get an idea of what they will cost in other markets as well. Let’s start with the Z Fold 3, shall we. The tipster claims that the 256GB storage variant will be priced at €2,009. The 512GB storage option will come with a €2,099 price tag. We’re not sure how much RAM will be included, but we’re guessing the first model comes with 8GB, while the latter one will include 12GB of RAM. It’s possible that both will come with 12GB as well, depending on what rumor you choose to believe. In the case of the Galaxy Z Flip 3, you can expect the 128GB storage option to set you back €1,029, while the 256GB storage variant will cost €1,109. Do note that he also noted that both of these variants will come with 8GB of RAM. The tipster also noted that these price tags were taken from a retailer. He did not mention which retailer, but he did note that the company also shared the images you can see in the gallery below. Needless to say, both devices will be more affordable than their predecessors, as rumored.
The company will host its new ‘Unpacked’ event on August 11
Samsung had already confirmed its August 11 launch event. These two phones will be announced during that ‘Unpacked’ event. Alongside them, we’re getting two new smartwatches from the company, and a pair of truly wireless earbuds. The company opted not to announce a new ‘Galaxy Note’ device this year. Instead of it, we’re getting two foldables, one of which will support the S Pen stylus (the Galaxy Z Fold 3). The Galaxy S21 FE was also supposed to launch, but its launch has been postponed. It will likely arrive in October, but nothing has been confirmed just yet.
