It is worth noting, though, that its hinge will take up less space, so the phone’s physical width will decrease slightly because of it. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a display aspect ratio of 25:9. The Galaxy Z Fold 4’s display aspect ratio will be 23:9, according to the tipster. That is the difference he tried to present in the provided image. The overall design will be quite similar, though, it seems. You’ll notice that a display camera hole will be placed on the cover display on both phones. Samsung is planning to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 4 later this year. The phone is expected to launch in August, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Samsung still didn’t confirm their launch date, but considering the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 arrived in August, there’s a good chance their successors will as well. That’s when Samsung usually hosts its second Unpacked event of the year. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 won’t present major design changes, but will be improved compared to their predecessors. Samsung is, first and foremost, expected to offer hinge improvements, to decrease the display crease on both phones.
