Google believes you should wait for the Pixel 6, over getting the iPhone 13

The way the company did it is quite interesting. Google tweeted that out from its “Nexus” account, as in its private account which ties to its now dead lineup of smartphones and other devices. Google simply tweeted out “I’d wait for #Pixel6”, and that’s it. All we can do at this point is include the screenshot of that tweet, as we can’t embed that tweet due to the nature of that account. So, you can check it out below.

This is extremely interesting as the Nexus account hasn’t really been active since late 2017. The last tweet that was shared from that accounts was back on October 17, 2017, and it was regarding the Pixel 2. Now that the iPhone 13 series is out, Google’s Pixel phones will come into focus. Truth be said, Google’s phones are nowhere near the iPhone 13 in terms of popularity, but in the tech community, things are getting quite interesting.

The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro designs have been confirmed by the company

Google already confirmed the designs for the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, while it also shared some details regarding their specs. Those two phones will be the first devices from the company to utilize Google’s very own mobile processor, the Google Tensor. We’re expecting both smartphones to become official in October. They’re rumored to launch on October 19, and go on sale on October 28. We’ll see if that information is accurate, but the launch date did get indirectly shared by Google via Android 12 promo materials. Speaking of which, Android 12 is expected to drop in early October, on October 4. Do note that Google didn’t flat out confirm any of this, so take it with a grain of salt. Google’s Pixel smartphones will be the first in line to get Android 12.
