The deadline for making the purchase as part of this promotion is October 10 at 11:59PM PST. So you don’t have long to take advantage of this. It’s already October 5 so anyone who wants a freebie needs to act fast as there’s five days left to get in on the deal. The other requirement is that the game has to cost at least $59.99. Which is full price. Google also notes that the purchase has to be for a game already available, or a pre-order for a game launching by October 10. If the game is a pre-order, it has to have a launch date of October 10 by the 11:59PM PST cutoff time. Google announced this promotion on September 30. The Premiere Edition costs $80. So if you were considering picking one up and buying a game anyway, buying one at full price scores you the hardware for no cost. Google is offering this promotion in the US, UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Austria, and Switzerland. Google will only give out the Premiere Edition kits as long as it has stock that’s been allocated for this promotion. So you shouldn’t wait if you’re considering it.
