This information comes from a German blog that is not the usual source for such info. The thing is, Roland Quandt, a well-known tipster, seems to believe this is true, so there you have it.

The Google Pixel 7, 7 Pro, and Pixel Watch release dates have been revealed

So, when are the devices coming? Well, the source claims that the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will start shipping on October 18. You’ll have to wait a bit longer for the Pixel Watch, as its release date seems to be November 4. Do note that the source mentions that “short-term changes” are a possibility, though. He also notes that the provided information has been gathered from “Google partners”, as these are the current plans. There you have it. Google will have a lot to say on October 6. The company did show us some renders of some of its products, including the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, way back in May. It also confirmed that a second-gen Tensor chip will fuel them, but not much more than that. That processor will be called the Tensor G2, that much we do know. Its name has been confirmed quite recently. It seems like it will have a similar core setup as the first-gen Tensor, but with a new GPU, and so on.

The two phones will look very similar to their predecessors

The two phones will look very similar to their predecessor, but with one major change. The camera visor on the back will now be covered by metal, and thus better protected. That will make the two phones look different as well. The same 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN1 camera sensor will likely be used, but with improvements, of course. Software improvements will definitely be in play, but hardware ones as well, mainly due to the new SoC.
