The Motorola Razr 2022 specs surface ahead of launch
Now, this listing does not flat out confirm the phone’s name, or that this is that phone, but based on the specs, well, it’s obvious. Before we get into it, it’s worth noting that the Motorola Razr 2022 is expected to launch tomorrow, August 2, in China. The phone will launch alongside the Motorola Moto X30 Pro, allegedly, and the global launch will likely follow later on. It would be wise of Motorola to host that global launch soon, though. In any case, this listing confirms that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will fuel the Motorola Razr 2022. The device will include a 6.7-inch main foldable display. That will be an AMOLED panel with a fullHD+ resolution, and a 20:9 display aspect ratio. It will also be a 120Hz display, with a centered display camera hole.
The phone will include a 2.65-inch secondary display
What about the secondary display? Well, we’ll get a 2.65-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 800 x 573 pixels. So, that display will be a decent size for a secondary panel. The phone will arrive in 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM variants, according to this information. Those three models will include 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage. Motorola may mix and match, though. We’ll likely get less variants in the global market, likely one or two. The camera specs are not exactly accurate here, these things do happen on TENAA. Based on previous info, though, we’ll get a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 13-megapixel ultrawide unit on the back. A single 32-megapixel camera will sit on the front. Will the battery be large enough, though? According to TENAA, we’ll get a 3,500mAh battery capacity. The company is planning to include two batteries here, which will, combined, offer a battery capacity of 3,500mAh. If you end up using the main display intensively, well, that battery capacity likely won’t be enough. For mixed use, though, we’ll see. Android 12 will come pre-installed, while a side-facing fingerprint scanner will also be included. The phone will measure 166.99 x 79.79 x 7.62mm when unfolded. It will weigh 200 grams, and come in a number of color options.
