Basically, Pixel Pass bundles all of Google’s services together with the Pixel 6 and device protection for as low as $45 per month. Which if you already use services like YouTube Premium, YouTube Music, Play Pass and Google One, then you probably want to sign up. It’s really nice to have, as you can pay for all of this at once and not get charged multiple times per month. Google is pretty vague about how much this would save you. Just saying it would save you up to $294 over two years on the Pixel 6. And if you have Google Fi, you get another $5 off your bill each month, making it up to $414 over two years. But how does that work out per month. How much are you saving each month. We did the math to see.

You’re saving about 20% per month

For the Pixel 6, the costs break down like this:

Pixel 6 monthly cost: $29.96Device Protection monthly cost: $7YouTube Premium (with Music Premium): $11.99Google Play Pass: $4.99Google One: $2.99

That comes out to roughly $57 per month. But Google will give this to you for $45 per month with Pixel Pass. That is not too shabby actually, and works out to around 22%. Especially if you already use these services. Essentially, Google is giving you YouTube Premium for free, and who doesn’t want ad-free YouTube? For the Pixel 6 Pro, the costs are a bit different. Mostly the price of the phone and device protection. Here’s how it breaks down:

Pixel 6 Pro monthly cost: $37.46Device Protection monthly cost: $9YouTube Premium (with Music Premium): $11.99Google Play Pass: $4.99Google One: $2.99

For the Pixel 6 Pro that comes out to be about $66. Google is going to charge you $55 per month for the Pixel 6 Pro with Pixel Pass. Not as great as a deal, as it’s about 17% off the regular price. But that’s still a pretty decent chunk of savings each month. So is Pixel Pass worth it? Again, it depends on how many of these services you use, or would use. The only service that might not get used as much would be Play Pass. As YouTube Premium everyone would want, and Google One, everyone will need now that unlimited storage is gone.
