Samsung’s Galaxy A event will be live streamed today, here’s how you can watch it

The company will live stream this event on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and its official YouTube channel. The event kicks off today (March 17) at 10 AM EST / 7 AM PST / 2 PM GMT / 3 PM CET / 7:30 PM IST. At the time of writing this article, the YouTube link wasn’t live, but it will be later today (we’ll add it once available). So, what exactly is Samsung expected to announce during this event? Well, there are three possibilities. The Samsung Galaxy A33, A53, and A73 have been rumored for weeks now. The three phones have been popping up online, and that goes for their designs, specs, and certifications.

We may see up to three phone announcements today

It is possible that Samsung plans to announce all three of those phones today. On the flip side, we may see one or two, it remains to be seen. If past events are any indication, though, all three will become official. These three phones won’t be huge boosts over their predecessors, they’ll be incremental upgrades, basically. What’s worth noting is that we may see Samsung use a 108-megapixel camera for the first time on a ‘Galaxy A’ smartphone. These three devices may all be fueled by Exynos chips, but we can’t be sure of that. Knowing Samsung, anything is possible when it comes to the SoC department. Android 12 is expected to come pre-installed on all three phones, while the devices are also expected to support Wi-Fi 6. Don’t expect to see a 3.5mm headphone jack on either of them, and the same goes for a charger. Samsung has decided to ship its cheaper phones without a charger as well, it seems.
