This process is quite simple, and it’s basically the same as it was in Android 11. So, if you’ve done this before on your Pixel, you probably don’t even need this tutorial. If you have not, or simply want to refresh your memory, well, read on. We’ll lead you one step at a time, and you’ll also find screenshots below, just to make sure you’re doing the right thing. So, let’s get started, shall we.

How to edit Quick Settings in Android 12

As already mentioned, this process is fairly simple. The first thing you need to do is swipe down from the top, twice. You can basically swipe down from wherever downwards, on your home screen, if that option is available on your Pixel. The point is, we need to access Quick Settings on your phone. One swipe will open your notifications and the top row of quick settings toggles, which is why we need to do it twice. Once you’ve done that, you’ll notice a pencil icon in the bottom-left corner. Tap that icon.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll notice that all your currently active Quick Settings toggles appeared. You can press and hold either of them to rearrange them, in case you want some of them to be readily available at the top.

If you swipe down, you’ll notice a separate list of quick settings toggles. These toggles are not available at the moment, you won’t see them when you double swipe down from the home screen.

You can make them available, though, if you want. All you need to do is press and hold on either of them, and drag and drop them into the top list of toggles.

In this case, I did it with the “Do Not Disturb” toggle, as you can see below. You can rearrange Quick Settings toggles any way you want.
