There are a couple of issues with doing this, like the app drawer being split in two on the main display, so it’ll take some getting used to, but it’s still quite easy to do. And that’s what we’re going to show you how to do today.
How to mirror your home screen onto the Cover Display
In order to mirror your home screen onto the Cover Display, we need to enable it first. So to do this, start by going to Settings. Tap on Home Screen.
Then you’ll see an option for Cover Screen Mirroring at the top. Tap on that.
Now turn on Cover Screen Mirroring. Now your home screen will be mirrored onto the cover screen. You may need to set up your Cover Screen layout the way you want it first, before it’ll be mirrored onto the main screen, and vice versa. So it’s a good idea to do this when you first set up your Galaxy Z Fold 4.
Cover Screen mirroring
Samsung will back up your settings here, so if you ever switch to another device, you can easily have these settings back. Additionally, the Cover Screen Mirroring essentially splits the main display into two. So not only will the first two pages of your cover screen appear on the main display’s first screen, but the app drawer also splits into two columns. With the crease down the middle. It’ll take some getting used to, but it shouldn’t be to difficult. And that’s it. That is how you are able to mirror your main display’s layout to the cover screen.
