This update didn’t just add a more user-friendly experience for viewing achievements on the Steam Deck though. It also added the ability to set up a lock screen among other things. Like setting games to have uncapped frame rates and more. But for the achievements hunters, one of the bigger things here is of course, the achievements page for your games. While it used to just default to the Steam web browser, the latest Steam Deck update has made it so there’s a native section in the Steam Deck’s UI. This means faster loading times of the achievements page and it’s just overall easier to navigate. And you can compare your achievements to your friends who play the same games as you. Should you ever want to do so. With that said, viewing your achievements on the Steam Deck is relatively simple and that only becomes more true now with the new visibility. So let’s dig into it.

How to view your achievements on the Steam Deck

First things first, acquire some achievements. Ok but all joking aside, you can view your achievements by first picking a game you have installed on the Steam Deck.

Find a game you want to view achievements for

To view your achievements, first find a game you’re trying to view them for. All achievements can be accessed from the game’s library page. Just like with the Steam PC client.

On the game page, navigate to the Your Stuff tab

Once the game page loads up, scroll down past the play button and look for the button called Your Stuff. Click on that and you’ll be taken to where your achievements are listed for that particular game. Now, this page will only show you a brief snippet of those achievements. You’ll be able to see some achievement icons, as well as the one you most recently acquired. And you can see a progress bar with how many of the total number of achievements you’ve unlocked. But there is a way to see a little more in-depth info on each of those achievements.

Click on the most recently unlocked achievement

Now click on the most recent achievement that you’ve unlocked. This will take you to the actual achievements page and it will have every single achievement for that game listed. Whether you’ve unlocked them or not. This is also a good way to figure out how to unlock remaining achievements. As you can see descriptions of the achievements requirements here. You’ll also be able to see when you unlocked any that are already completed.

Compare your achievements to your friends

Lastly, you can also compare your achievements for your chosen game to the achievements of your friends if they play that same game. On the achievements page, click the button near the right top corner that says compare. Then select a friend from the list to see how many they’ve completed.
