Instagram outage makes people think that their accounts are suspended

If you logged on to Instagram to find out your account has been randomly suspended, don’t worry. This is because of an ongoing outage that’s affecting millions of the platform’s users. The company posted a tweet about the issue, so it’s aware of what’s going on and it’s working on it. The bug seems to be impacting accounts randomly. Instagram brought some improvements to its account blocking. When you block an account, you’re usually able to block that account and any accounts that that person may create in the future. Now, adding to that, Instagram will block that account and any other accounts that that person currently has. Instagram is also bringing some new reminders and nudges to keep communication clean. When you’re about to DM a person, especially a person with a lot of followers, you’ll get a small message telling you to be mindful of what you’re about to say to this person in order to avoid abuse. There is another nudge that will pop up when replying to a message that Instagram flagged as potentially inappropriate. The message will tell you to stop and think about what you’re about to type before you type it.
