In addition to optimizing Office apps for the new smartphones, Microsoft will also bring Outlook and Teams into the mix, as per Phone Arena.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 can leverage Multi-Active Window to multitask with Office applications

Both phones will allow users to run multiple apps simultaneously using Samsung’s Multi-Active window feature. The display real estate on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 offers plenty of room for creativity, and Microsoft wants to utilize it effectively for its enterprise tools. A recent report stated that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 would use the tablet version of Android apps. This is a logical move considering the subpar experience on last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 2. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Z Flip 3 will also gain support for WhatsApp chat migration from iPhones (iOS). Samsung’s foldable phones will get first dibs on the feature. However, WhatsApp clarified that other Android devices would follow suit soon. The two foldable phones were barely a secret at the time of release, thanks to several leaks. But some of the fine print, including the WhatsApp chat migration from iOS, and the partnership with Microsoft wasn’t publicly known.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, and the Galaxy Watch 4 are currently up on pre-order

Samsung also unveiled the all-new Galaxy Watch 4 with some crucial changes in tow. We learned shortly after its unveiling that the wearable would miss apps like YouTube Music and Google Assistant. This came as a bit of a surprise given that the Galaxy Watch 4 runs on Wear OS 3 with the One UI Watch 3 interface. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Z Flip 3 will be available starting August 27 in the U.S. and Europe for $1,799 and $999. Both phones are currently up for pre-order. The Galaxy Watch 4 will also go on sale starting August 27. The standard Galaxy Watch 4 will cost $249, whereas the ‘Classic’ variant will cost $349. Samsung will also offer LTE variants for an additional $50.
