Monument Valley was originally released to Android and iOS back in 2014, and it introduced a unique graphical and music aesthetic along with perplexing puzzles. It was able to garner a lot of fame along with several awards. A sequel followed that introduced more characters and puzzles, and it also received a lot of praise.
Now, these Monument Valley games are coming to PC
Well, the company can’t let mobile users have all the fun. In an announcement video, Ustwo Games revealed that this game collection is on its way to PC. It’s called Monument Valley Panoramic Collection. This is a pack with both the first and second games. This isn’t going to be a 1:1 port of the game to PC. The mobile version of Monument Valley is in portrait orientation, so the team needed to format the game for landscape orientation. This means that a lot had to go into making the puzzles fit in the frame.
When will this game launch?
You can expect Monument Valley to land on PC on July 12th. You’ll be able to pick it up on Steam when it launches. Right now, we don’t know how much the game is going to cost when it lands, unfortunately. If you’re excited about this game, you can add it to your Steam wishlist today.
