The device is made out of metal and glass. It has a flat display, and its bottom bezel is noticeably thicker than the rest. A display camera hole is included as well, and it’s centered at the top of the display. Its rear-facing cameras are vertically aligned, and there are three of them. An LED flash sits right next to those cameras. A fingerprint scanner is side-mounted this time around, it’s not hidden under the Motorola logo on the back.

When it comes to specs, this phone does have a lot to offer. It features a 6.8-inch fullHD+ (2460 x 1080) LCD display with 144Hz refresh rate. This panel does support HDR10+ content, and it’s a display with 8-bit color support. The Snapdragon 778G fuels this handset, and that’s a 6nm chip from Qualcomm. It’s quite a capable chip, actually, and it does support 5G connectivity. The phone packs in 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Android 11 comes pre-installed, while a single bottom-firing speaker is included. There are also three microphones here, and the phone is IP52-rated for water resistance. Bluetooth 5.2 is also a part of the package.
A large battery is included, along with 30W fast charging
A 5,000mAh battery sits on the inside of the device, and the phone supports 30W TurboPower fast wired charging. Wireless charging is not supported, and the same goes for reverse (wireless) charging. A 108-megapixel main camera (0.7um pixel size, f/1.9 aperture, 1/1.52” sensor, Ultra Pixel Technology for 2.1um) is backed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide unit with macro mode (f/2.4 aperture). A 2-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4 aperture, 1.75um pixel size) also sits at the back. A 32-megapixel front-facing camera (f/2.25 aperture, 0.7um pixel size, Quad Pixel Technology for 1.4um) is also included by Motorola on this handset.
The phone will be sold with a huge discount at launch
The phone measures 169 x 75.6 x 8.99mm, and weighs 200 grams. It comes in Nebula Blue color only, at least for now. The phone is priced at $699.99, but it will be available for $499.99 at launch, as a limited discount will take place.
