The Galaxy S21 FE gets Bluetooth certification, with its launch coming soon

As most of you know, the Galaxy S21 FE was supposed to launch on August 11. That’s when the company hosted its ‘Unpacked’ press event, and announced the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Watch 4, Watch 4 Classic, and Buds 2. The Galaxy S21 FE was originally in Samsung’s plans to launch alongside all those devices, but its plans got messed up. Why? Well, it seems like the chip shortage is to blame this time around, at least based on reports. The Galaxy S21 FE is now rumored to launch in October. Do note that nothing has been confirmed by the company just yet. Samsung did tease the device, maybe even accidentally, but we don’t know when it’s coming. This smartphone will be a direct successor to the Galaxy S20 FE. That phone was quite popular for Samsung, as it was its budget flagship. It offered high-end specs, but cut corners in some places to keep the price relatively affordable. It, for example, utilized a plastic backplate.

The Galaxy S21 FE will have elements of both the S20 FE and S21

Its successor, the Galaxy S21 FE, is tipped to do the same. In fact, it will resemble the Galaxy S20 FE to a degree, but with some of the Galaxy S21 elements added to it, of course. The phone did surface in CAD-based renders a while back, giving us a peek of what we can expect. The phone will feature a flat display, a 120Hz refresh rate, the Snapdragon 888 SoC, and much more. We’re not sure how much will it cost, but chances are it will have a similar price tag to its successor. This Bluetooth certification also confirmed that it will include Bluetooth 5.0. Some of you probably expected Bluetooth 5.2, but even the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 offer Bluetooth 5.0, so… there you have it.
