The Nothing Phone (1) will have uniform bezels

Well, the company said that it won’t have a ‘chin’, which essentially means that the bezels will be uniform. That’s not something we see on many phones, so that’s a nice touch. The bottom bezel is usually slightly thicker than the rest. Having said that, Nothing also said that the announcement date will be revealed really soon. We do know that this phone will launch in the summer, but we don’t know when exactly. A tipster did say it will likely launch on July 21, though, we’ll see if that info was accurate. In its Tweet, Nothing also recapped what it already confirmed thus far. The Nothing Phone (1) will have a recycled aluminum mid-frame, and a transparent back. It will also offer wireless charging, and be fueled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC.

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 is expected to fuel the phone

Now, some additional information about this phone did leak out, but we don’t know if it’s accurate. It is said that the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 will fuel the device. That does make sense, as the Nothing Phone (1) will allegedly cost around €500. The device is also said to include a 90Hz display, most probably a fullHD+ one. A 64-megapixel main camera was also mentioned several times thus far. Let’s hope Nothing will utilize LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage as well. Android 12 is expected to come pre-installed, with Nothing Launcher on top of it. A single display camera hole is expected, while the display will likely be flat, not curved. Nothing is expected to confirm the launch date really soon, while some additional info will likely be shared by the company.
