Why the sudden interest in this Star Wars character? Well, there’s a new show, named Obi-Wan Kenobi, coming to Disney+ later this month. The premier date is May 27th, so if you have a Disney+ subscription, then you’ll be able to watch it on day one.
Now, Obi-Wan Kenobi will be a playable Fortnite character
One day before the show premiers, you’ll be able to play as him on Fortnite, according to Epic Games. There won’t only be a skin for you to use, as the character comes with a plethora of different accessories to add on. Along with the skin, you’ll also be able to get the Obi-Wan back bling, his unique glider, his pickaxe, and other items.
You can get this character before the official launch
You’ll be able to get Obi-Wan Kenobi on Fortnite starting May 26th, but what if you want to get him even earlier? You can do that if you’ve got the skills. Fortnite is hosting the Obi-Wan Kenobi Cup starting on May 22nd. This is an opportunity for people to earn the character and the back bling a few days early. This is a tournament that you can compete in with a partner. Yes, you’ll be playing duos in order to bring home the gold. The way this works is that on the day of the tournament, you’ll be able to play up to 10 rounds in the allotted 3-hour time span. In that time span, you’ll need to score 25 points in a round.
