The OnePlus 11 won’t utilize ceramic build after all, it seems
He said that the phone will utilize a ceramic build, while he also shared some specs of the device. Well, Max Jambor disagrees with the ceramic part. There is a chance a special edition version in China may offer ceramic, which is why Digital Chat Station mentioned it. We’ll have to wait and see. Max Jambor did not mention he’s talking about the global variant. He simply said that ceramic will not be used, so we presume that he meant in general, on all OnePlus 11 variants. So, the OnePlus 11 will most likely be made out of metal and glass, just like its predecessor. Its CAD-based renders already surfaced, and the device will resemble the OnePlus 10 Pro. It will have a slightly different-looking camera island on the back. The curved display will still be a part of the package, and so will a display camera hole. That hole will be placed in the top-left corner of the display.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be included, as will UFS 4.0 flash storage
As for the specs, the OnePlus 11 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. That is Qualcomm’s brand new flagship processor. The device will offer up to 16GB of RAM, and include UFS 4.0 flash storage. A 50-megapixel main camera will be backed by a 48-megapixel ultrawide unit. A 32-megapixel telephoto camera (2x optical zoom) will also be a part of the package. This handset is also said to utilize a 5,000mAh battery, with 100W SuperVOOC wired charging. 50W wireless charging will almost certainly be on offer as well, as will reverse wireless charging. Android 13 will come pre-installed on the phone, along with OnePlus’ OxygenOS 13. The OnePlus 11 will most likely become official in January in China, if not at the end of December. The global unit will likely follow in February or March.
