The OnePlus Nord got plenty of optimizations & fixes thanks to a new update

As far as ‘System’ changes are concerned, OnePlus optimized the font display on the phone. In addition to that, the issue of a blank screen in some scenarios has also been fixed, and the same goes for some fingerprint scanner issues. In some cases, the charging icon displayed abnormally on the phone, under power-off mode. Well, that won’t be happening anymore. Also, this update does include the July 2022 Android security patch. Some changes have been categorized in the ‘Communication’ section as well. The issue that the Bluetooth name did not display in some scenarios has been fixed. The same goes for the issue where there was noise in earphones when adjusting the call volume on the device.

Some ‘Camera’ fixes have also been issued

The last category mentioned in the changelog is the ‘Camera’ category. OnePlus has optimized the setting of the watermark font, and also changed the display of pictures in some scenarios. The Photos app lock worked abnormally in some scenarios, but that should no longer be the case. The last change listed has to do with the camera crashing. It crashed in specific scenarios, says OnePlus, but that issue has also been fixed. As per usual, this update is rolling out in stages. So, you may have to wait to get your turn, especially if you don’t own an Indian unit. OnePlus is rolling it out to a limited number of users at first. Some of you are probably wondering when will the OnePlus Nord get Android 13. Well, probably never. The OnePlus Nord is not eligible for that update, and unless something drastically changes, it won’t be getting it.
