Android 12L is a new branch of Google’s mobile operating system designed specifically for big-screen devices such as foldables, tablets, and Chrome OS devices. It optimizes the UI elements to make proper use of the extra screen space. Announced last year, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is the first product to ship with Android 12L out of the box. By the looks of it, Samsung also plans to upgrade some of the older compatible Fold phones to Android 12L soon....

The OnePlus 10 Pro did not pass its durability test This has been a weird year for OnePlus’ main flagship line of phones. The OnePlus 10 Pro launched with no word on the regular OnePlus 10. We’re all still wondering if we’re ever going to actually going to see a regular OnePlus 10 at all. Also, we don’t know if we’re going to see the OnePlus 10 Pro in the States....

OnePlus is rebranding its OnePlus 9RT for the Indian market OnePlus’s flagship phones have a pretty simple naming scheme. There’s a main variant, a pro variant, and a T variant. The Nord line of phones, on the other hand, can be a little bit confusing. Earlier this year, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9R to the Indian market. It then released the OnePlus 9RT to the Chinese market. If that’s not confusing enough, the company will be launching the OnePlus 9RT in India, only, this phone will be called the OnePlus RT....

First reported by 91Mobiles, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition looks nothing like the standard Ace that broke cover in China recently. The rear camera arrangement here is quite similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro, so this phone could likely launch under a different moniker. The leak only shows us the device’s rear panel. So it’s hard to tell how it’s different from the vanilla variant. This limited edition variant recently made its way to the Chinese device certification site TENAA bearing the model number PGZ110....

Users can further expect some video recording improvements when AI Video Enhancement is enabled (via Android Authority). OnePlus is also fixing a bug that led to unclear phone calls when paired with Bluetooth devices. If the update notification hasn’t hit your Nord 2 yet, you can pull it manually by navigating to Settings – System – System updates. This security patch introduces the firmware version OxygenOS A.15. A recent security vulnerability on the OnePlus Nord 2 allowed attackers to access the root shell of the device without enabling USB debugging....

Peak Design now offers ‘Everyday Case’ for the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro This case is made out of polycarbonate, while it has a nylon canvas fabric shell. The case is actually waterproof, and it’s 100-percent recycled. We’re not sure if the 100-percent recycled applies to the entire case, or just the fabric, but it’s probably the former. Do note that the nylon canvas fabric covers the back of the phone, but only below the camera strip, so like 90-percent of the back....

The Lightguide Bulbs are really the first true statement light bulbs from Hue. It has a distinct contemporary design, and comes in three shapes. There’s a large globe, ellipse and a triangular shape option all available. They have a glowing inner tube that is able to diffuse light, and each will sport a glossy finish. So that they are able to shine even brighter. These are available in both white and color ambiance, rated at 500 lumens....

That being said, the Galaxy S21 is still very much a powerful device, and has the latest specs you’d want in a flagship. Both of these phones come with displays that are more than large enough, and yet the phones themselves are not that large, not at all. They do differ in a lot of ways, though, as they offer different specs, different designs… well, they’re basically as different as they can be, other than the size aspect....

The OnePlus 10 Pro is still considered to be OnePlus’ flagship, despite the fact it has an inferior SoC and charging to the OnePlus 10T. The Google Pixel 6 Pro, despite being quite similar to the Pixel 6, carries the flagship mantle over at Google. The OnePlus 10T and Pixel 6 are just a step behind their siblings, though, and in some ways, they’re even better. That being said, we’ll kick things off by comparing their specs, and will move from there....

PinePhone Pro is developed by the same team that produced the different Linux-powered hardware, including single-board computers, notebooks, and the OG PinePhone smartphone. PinePhone Pro was announced back in October 2021, which was the successor to the original phone, the PinePhone from 2019. Pine64 started delivering the Pro model to developers last month, however, it wasn’t available for the masses. Trend Micro said that it found over 40 fake cryptocurrency apps with the potential to steal crypto along with the user’s information. Trend Micro mentions apps like Enjoy Photo Editor, Cryptomining Farm Your own Coin, Panorama Camera, Daily Fitness OL, Swarm Photo, Photo Gaming Puzzle, Business Meta Manager, and many more (via Phone Arena). The company didn’t offer a complete list of the 200+ apps that contain the Facestealer spyware....

Rocket League Sideswipe brings players to a 2D field We’re all used to playing Rocket League on a 3D soccer field, but Sideswipe is different. You’ll be facing off against characters in a 2D perspective, dashing from left to right to make the goals. To make the goals, you’ll still be doing special jumps and flips.
