According to CNET’s report, TCL’s chief marketing officer, Stefan Streit has said that they won’t launch a foldable for 12-18 months. The new research report states that about 95 percent of American teens use YouTube. One out of every five teens (19 percent) is on the video-sharing platform almost all the time. It’s worth noting that YouTube has also introduced a TikTok-like platform for short videos called Shorts within the main app, following the success of the latter. Instagram and Snapchat are the next two popular social media apps among US teens, with a usage percentage of 62 percent and 59 percent, respectively....

During its Q3 2020 earnings report in October, Google had announced that it has reached 30 million paid subscribers across YouTube Music Premium and YouTube Premium. Over the past year or so, the two services have added another 20 million paid subscribers. That itself is a big achievement. YouTube isn’t telling how much revenue it is making from these 50 million users, neither does it reveal the average price subscribers pay between the two services....
