Nextbase says its new iQ dash cams will be available in three versions with varying front camera resolutions. Users get to choose between 1080p, 1440p, or 4K cameras facing the road. Meanwhile, the camera facing the cabin is available in 1080p and 1440p resolutions. Interestingly, Nextbase also provides an optional third wired remote camera that looks out the rear window in 1440p. Another notable feature of the Nextbase iQ is the lack of a display....

The portal pre-maturely announced the launch of the Nokia T20 and also published an image of the tablet. While they soon realized their mistake and took down the article, Finnish publication SoumiMobiili has got hold of the image from one of their readers. It gives us a closer look at both the front and the rear of the upcoming Nokia tablet. As you can see in the attached image below, the Nokia T20 features rounded corners with flatter edges....

The Nubia Z40 Pro design has been revealed As you can see, the Nubia Z40 Pro will offer a rather squarish design with sharp corners. Its sides will be curved, to fit your hand better, while the display will be curved as well. The bezels will be almost non-existent. A display camera hole is included, and it is centered at the top of the display. The power/lock key is placed on the right-hand side, and it is red-colored....

Hyundai started offering vehicles with the NVIDIA DRIVE ecosystem back in 2022. And now offers it across its entire lineup. Meanwhile BYD is going to start building its vehicles on the NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion platform in the first half of 2023. And Polestar will offer it with the upcoming Polestar 3. This means you’re likely to see GeForce NOW on Hyundai vehicles first. Though NVIDIA nor the manufacturers have mentioned when the service would pop up on in-vehicle displays....

One UI 4.1.1 brings a bunch of new features that Samsung debuted on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 last month. You get the ability to extract text from images. This feature comes in handy when someone sends you a photo of a business card. You can not only extract the phone number or website in it but also directly place a call or visit that website from the gallery app....

So, when news broke, ahead of today’s OnePlus 10T announcement, that the Alert Slider was gone, many were understandably upset. But we do have some good news. OnePlus Watch Harry Potter Edition specifications The Harry Potter Edition of the OnePlus Watch features the same internals as the original version. Meaning it sports a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a 2.5D curved glass on top. The wearable has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance as well as a 5ATM water resistance rating. In less technical terms, the device should be able to withstand immersion in water up to 50 meters deep for ten minutes....

I’ve been thinking about it all weekend, and for the amount of content that Netflix has that I’d actually want to watch, it’s not worth $20 or even the $15.50 for the Standard plan (without 4K). And so I’ll be canceling my subscription. When the news broke last week, The Verge had a nice table showing the prices of the three plans over the past 7 years. Both the Standard and Premium plans have basically doubled in that time....

TikTok came under fire after it acknowledged that some of its China-based employees had access to US users’ data. On the heels of this, TikTok’s CEO wrote a letter to US lawmakers to explain the company’s plans to address the security concerns. One of the measures that TikTok agreed to take was to store the US user’s data in an Oracle data center. Oracle is now auditing the algorithms and content moderation models of TikTok to “ensure they aren’t manipulated by Chinese authorities”....

A recap on the acquisition A couple of days ago, Microsoft announced to the world that it had acquired Activision Blizzard for a scale-bending $68.7 billion. That’s almost 5.5 times as much money that Take-Two paid for Zynga. With this purchase, Microsoft will own games with a player base of about 400 million monthly users. This news really struck, as, this basically gives Microsoft control over some of the biggest game franchises in the world....

The thing is, considering Apple’s pricing, the iPhone 14 is more expensive than the Pixel 7. The base model starts at $799, while the Pixel 7 starts at $599. That’s quite a difference, and these two devices are also quite different. We don’t mean only their designs, but the whole package. We’ll first list their specifications, and will then move to compare them across a number of other categories....

Comparing these two will be quite interesting. They are quite similar from the design perspective, and come with very similar software. They also share some specs, but do differ in that regard quite a bit. The thing is, the OnePlus 9 is quite a bit more expensive in comparison, so it will be interesting to see if it’s worth it. We’ll let you decide that based on the content of the comparison....

Before we begin, do note that neither of these phones is officially available outside of China, as of now. They both come with software made for China, but installing Google Play Services is not a problem at all....

They do come with completely different form factors, but they do have plenty in common as well. Their internals are similar, to a degree, and the same goes for their software builds. There are differences, though, of course. That’s what we’ll talk about in this comparison, and hopefully help you choose the device that suits you best. We’ll kick things off by listing their specs, and will then move on to compare the two phones across a number of categories....
