The latest update for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic is rolling out with firmware versions R870XXU1EVB4 and R880XXU1EVB4 respectively. The accompanying changelog doesn’t reveal much about its content and simply says “improved system stability and reliability.” But we hope this release fixes some of the bugs that snuck into the latest Samsung smartwatches with prior updates. Most notably, users have been complaining about multiple issues following the massive update earlier this month....

Currently, Best Buy has the ASUS C536EA Chromebook on sale for $399 and that’s down from $569. That’s a pretty inexpensive Chromebook, however, this is still quite powerful. Since it does have a touchscreen, you can fold the ASUS Chromebook back and use it as a tablet. Which is really nice to have. Especially at this 15.6-inch size. The main point of contention has been Call Of Duty. The wildly popular first-person shooter franchise from Activision. Spotify and Apple have been in a legal fight for years, and the music streaming app has always been at the forefront of criticizing Apple’s App Store policies. Last year, the European Commission voted in favor of Spotify and lashed back at Apple over uncompetitive practices. Spotify is now teaming up with Elon Musk and Twitter to challenge Apple’s policies. This Netflix Spotify partnership brings the Netflix Hub The record-breaking hit show Squid Game seems to be the cause of this partnership. Spotify said in the announcement that after Squid Game launched, there were over 22,500 specifically themed playlists made inspired by the show. Because of this, Spotify and Netflix struck a deal that brings music from Netflix over to Spotify. They created what’s called the Netflix Hub. This is a new section on the Spotify app where you can find Netflix music....

First reported by SamMobile, the Android 12 + One UI 4 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 features the firmware version F711BXXU2BUKM. With the rollout commencing in Serbia, it’s safe to assume that other markets would follow suit over the coming days and weeks. It’s currently unclear whether the update is also reaching One UI 4 beta users in the region. This isn’t very surprising considering how fast the carrier has been proceeding with its Sprint network shutdown efforts since the closure of the $26 billion purchase last year. Texas is suing Meta for nonconsensual facial recognition It’s hard enough to stomach when a company uses your search history without your permission, but it’s a different story when it uses your face. The state of Texas filed a lawsuit against Meta for using facial recognition on its citizens without getting their permission. A statement from the case reads, “…unbeknownst to users, Facebook was disclosing users’ personal information to other entities who further exploited it”....

T-Mobile is currently rolling out a fix for LG smartphones impacted by the IMS error The issue reportedly stems from a change that T-Mobile made to its internal systems, as per The TMo Report (via Phone Arena). T-Mobile clearly couldn’t notice the bug in time, meaning that a handful of LG devices were rendered useless with this error message. The TMo Report cites a “trusted source” claiming that the fix is currently rolling out to affected customers....

But right now, according to DroidLife the feature is nowhere to be found even after the watch has been updated to the latest software. This would suggest that Google has to enable things server side. And if that’s the case, then there’s still a little bit of a wait to be had....

While the Pixel Fold has been delayed, for now, it could still arrive next year According to a report by The Elec (via Wccftech), the Pixel Fold will instead make an appearance in 2023. The publication went on to say that the delay was largely due to the phone not being fully finished at this point. So the delay is probably a wise decision considering how fragile foldable phones can be....
