As of now, a bunch of Samsung phones is already running the latest security patchset. This includes both the premium devices as well as the mid-range offerings from the company. According to the latest report by SamMobile, the entire Galaxy S10 series carrier-locked models, which include the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and the Galaxy S10 5G in the US are picking up the latest October 2021 security update....

As of this writing, the October SMR (Security Maintenance Release) for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is rolling out in Europe. The update is available widely in the region, including in Germany, Italy, Portugal, and the Czech Republic. The new firmware version for the second-gen foldable is F916BXXS2HVI8. It isn’t getting any new features or improvements, though. The Galaxy Z Flip is also currently picking up the October SMR in Europe and is available widely....

Razer is also announcing the new Strider Chroma mouse mat that comes with a hybrid soft/hard surface. It’s not quite as large as the Razer Goliathus Chroma 3XL. But it still takes up a lofty amount of room at 900mm x 370mm. Both mats feature multiple lighting zones with Chroma integration (like most of Razer’s products), though Razer makes a point to highlight that the Strider Chroma comes with 19 lighting zones....

OnePlus & OPPO smartphone sales have been halted in Germany, patent dispute to blame WinFuture reports that Nokia met with the Mannheim district court back in July, to discuss this issue. It is said that both OnePlus and OPPO are using 5G technologies from Nokia, and are not paying for them. The source says: “the dispute is specifically about so-called ‘essential patents,’ which are of fundamental importance for the 5G standards”....

OnePlus 10 Pro teardown Like most other smartphones, the OnePlus 10 Pro also opens from the back. The glass backplate comes off fairly easily on applying a little heat and prying with a pry tool. The glass camera covering, which is attached to the back panel, can also be peeled off similarly. Removing the rear cover exposes 20 Philips screws that are holding everything in place. Once those screws are removed, you will be able to peel off the graphite film that goes on top of the battery to help with heat dissipation....

We cannot be 100% sure this is the OnePlus 11, but… it is. The fact that this charging speed goes hand-in-hand with the rumors basically confirms it. The OnePlus Ace Lite specs & design appeared in China That being said, it seems like OnePlus is planning to release another ‘Ace’ smartphone. A device under the model number ‘OnePlus PGZ110’ surfaced on TENAA. TENAA is China’s equivalent to the FCC. This phone’s specs, and even its design appeared. That display will offer a 90Hz refresh rate, and it will be flat. The MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC will fuel the phone. OnePlus will also include 8GB or 12GB of LPPDR4X RAM here. In addition to the event confirmation, OPPO also shared images of one of its phones, we presume this is the OPPO Find X5 Pro. That device leaked a number of times thus far, so we know what to expect. However, aside from having very few pre-installed apps and the first notched display, nothing else really stood out about that phone....

It’s not the first time we are seeing this design though. This P-shaped rear camera design appeared in early Galaxy S22 Ultra leaks before things started to change for good. This design was, unsurprisingly, disliked by many. Subsequently, we saw an 11-shaped camera design before Samsung seemingly settled on the raindrop style that it has used on some of its mid-rangers in the past. All recent Galaxy S22 Ultra renders showed the raindrop-style rear camera array, where each sensor individually protrudes out of the back panel....

One user reportedly got a quote of $5,000 for the information belonging to 1 million people. The person in possession of the information said that available data includes names, user IDs, email addresses, gender, phone number, and location. The report also verified some of the samples bought by others, while some said they hadn’t received the personal data despite paying the original poster. This led to speculation that the hacker was engaging in a large-scale scam or that the holder could not send the data due to some other constraints....
