However, the company will introduce the Ultra variant to its high-end tablet lineup for the first time with the Galaxy Tab S8. Samsung Display, the Korean behemoth’s display manufacturing arm, had around 2,000 LCD patents around the world and it handed over all of them to CSOT, The Elec reports. These include 577 patents registered in the US. The company transferred those in June this year and followed up with the transfer of patents registered in South Korea in August. It may have retained the rights to use the technology covered by those patents in its smartphones, though....

Last month a report surfaced online that claimed some of the Samsung.com sales reps in the US are working for free. They received no payment, and are working on a commission-only structure. These reps are not directly employed by Samsung, they work for a staffing agency called Ibbu. The Verge reports that Ibbu fired one of those employees who spoke up about its employment status. Other sales reps are penalized and can no longer work on Samsung projects....

Samsung usually sells its flagship phones in a host of color options. It will be no different for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ is expected to launch on May 20 The event will kick off at 8 PM local time, which translates to 2 PM CET / 8 AM EST / 5 AM PST. Qualcomm did not specifically mention either of these SoCs in its announcement, but that’s what’s expected to happen. The earbuds themselves are green, as is the inside of the charging / carrying case. The outer shell of the charging case is white, though, that goes for every model of the earbuds.
