The Pixel 7 Pro allows you to change the screen resolution manually If you take a look at the screenshot below, you’ll see the screen resolution page in Settings. You can access it by going to Settings -> Display -> Screen resolution on the Pixel 7 Pro. You can choose between fulllHD+ aka 1080p and QHD+ aka 1440p resolutions. The phone defaults to a fullHD+ resolution, by the way. You can easily change that, and if you want to get the most out of this display, you probably should....

Alarms and timers have always been isolated on Google Assistant devices. You have to manually manage those for each device you have in your smart home setup, directly from the device or from the Google Home app. This can get rather cumbersome depending on the number of alarms and timers you have set, as well as the number of devices. Samsung confirms that the Galaxy Note is officially dead Back in 2020, Samsung would launch the last true Galaxy Note phone, that Galaxy Note20 Ultra. We were all sad when the company didn’t launch one last year, and we wondered if the company’s attention on foldable phones was the culprit. Regardless, the company launched the Galaxy Note 22 Ultra, which is literally a Galaxy Note in every way. There’s been a lot of speculation as to whether Samsung is going to bring the Note line back, but that speculation comes to an end....

When pre-orders for the new clamshell foldable first opened, Samsung.com was offering $900 in trade-in credit for either Galaxy Z Flip 3 storage variants. It only showed one option for the phone. You select it and get a $900 discount on the Galaxy Z Flip 4. But in recent days, the trade-in list started showing the 128GB and 256GB models of the Flip 3 separately, with different credit values. If you have the latter, you still get $900, but for the former, you only get $700....

Citing information from the Ministry of Justice in Brazil, Telecompaper reports that over 900 Procon groups have teamed up to take legal actions against Samsung and Apple for not providing a charging adapter with new smartphones (via). The consumer groups may file a formal lawsuit if the companies do not agree to settle the matter outside court.
