As noted by 9to5Google (via XDA), users opening the Hangouts app on their Android or iOS will be automatically signed out. A banner that reads “​​Hangouts is being replaced by Google Chat” also appears on top of the screen. This is accompanied by a “Switch to Chat in Gmail” option. Tapping this button signs the user out and takes them to the chat experience within the Gmail app. Google notes that Hangouts conversations from June 2020 will appear after the migration is complete....

The June Google System update also brings new features to Play Points and Play Pass June’s Google System update includes a few bug fixes pertaining to account & system management and diagnostics. The official Google support page mentions improvements to the Play-as-you-download feature, allowing users to play a mobile game while it’s downloading. Google recently announced the availability of user profiles for Google TV. Now, adding to the feature list, Ambient mode will get cards you can set to show weather information or sports scores. According to Google, this feature works entirely on-device to preserve privacy. As you’re typing out a sentence, Gboard will highlight any grammatical errors with a blue underline. Tapping on the highlighted part will show the grammatically correct phrase or word in place of the contextual word suggestions. You can tap on it to quickly correct your sentence.
