Two separate Pixel 6 commercials appeared ahead of launch
Two separate commercials, one for each phone, have surfaced. These have been shared by Snoopy, a well-known tipster. Each of these commercials has a duration of 30 seconds, and they do show both phones in action. You can get a nice look at the Pixel 6 with a flat display, and the Pixel 6 Pro with a curved panel. These commercials also show the ‘Magic Eraser’ feature in action, and also give us a glimpse of Live Translate. Security is also in the focus of these ads, as the Security Hub is being shown here. These ads make it quite obvious that Google is putting a big focus on AI here, which was to be expected. AI will play a huge part in Google’s image processing. Everyone is expecting great pictures from these two phones, as Google is finally using a newer camera sensor, after four years.
These two phones will be fueled by Google’s very own SoC
These two phones will also be the first to sport Google’s very first mobile SoC, the Google Tensor. That will give Google even more control over them, and put an even bigger focus on AI. Based on a recent leak, the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro may actually cost less than we thought. If that leak ends up being accurate, both phones will offer quite aggressive price tags, and be quite compelling. They will offer similar specs, though the Pixel 6 Pro will have some advantages. They also offer a similar design language, with some changes. For example, the Pixel 6 Pro will offer a curved display, thinner bezels, and an extra camera on the back.
