The Pixel 7 & Pixel 7 Pro get detailed in new images, their front sides are shown as well
If you take a look at the two images below the article, you’ll be able to see both devices in several color options. Both their front and back sides are shown here, for us to check out. Based on these images, the Pixel 7 Pro’s display will be curved, but less curved than the Pixel 6 Pro’s. The bezels on the Pixel 7 also seem to be thinner than on the Pixel 6. Both smartphones will feature truly thin bezels, and a centered display camera hole. That’s not surprising at all, and is something we knew for a while now. Other than those changes, their camera visors on the back will be covered by metal this time around. As most of you know, the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro shipped with camera visors as well, but they were covered by glass, not metal. That is one major design change that Google is making this time around, for better or for worse.
The new metal layer will surely offer better protection for the cameras, but…
This metal layer will surely protect those camera setups better, in a way, but it looks worse, arguably, of course. The camera sensors themselves were difficult to see when they were surrounded by glass. So the entire camera visor looked more aesthetically pleasing. This way, you can see each individual camera sensor, as there’s metal all around them, and metal that is in an entirely different shade than the black-colored camera sensor. The Pixel 7 has two cameras on the back, while the Pixel 7 Pro includes three of them. That is the same number their predecessors had. The main camera sensor will remain unchanged on both, but it remains to be seen for the rest. The Pixel 7 series will become official on October 6. Those two phones will launch alongside the Pixel Watch, and a couple of additional products on Google’s part. The Pixel 7 series will be in focus, though, of course. Google Pixel 7:
