Officially it runs through the end of that day. You can pre-order the SSD in four versions. It comes in 1TB and 2TB models with no heatsink, and 1TB and 2TB models with a heatsink. You’ll want the heatsink model if you’re buying the SSD for the PS5. As this is what Sony recommends. The 1TB model without the heatsink is $169.99, while the 2TB model is $289.99. Meanwhile, the 1TB heatsink model is $189.99, and the 2TB heatsink model is $309.99. That being said, the model with the heatsink isn’t shipping until January 23, 2023. So if you don’t need a heatsink on your drive and want it here in time for the holidays, you may want to consider the non-heatsink model. Both the 1TB and 2TB drives without the heatsink should show up by November 22, and November 21 respectively. Which makes them perfect gifts.
