Typically, Razer keyboards have never had these kinds of options. Not officially anyway. If you picked up a Razer keyboard and you wanted to customize it, you’d have to get the keyboard accessories through a third-party company. And even then there’s a possibility that you may not find anything that’s compatible. With the new Razer keyboard accessories though, these are official products that are guaranteed to work.
Razer keyboard accessories will work with a wide range of models
The new accessory options won’t work with every single keyboard that Razer sells. But they will work with a wide variety of them. From the mini to TKL and even full-size models. This includes keyboards like the BlackWidow V3 Mini HyperSpeed, The Huntsman Mini, Huntsman TE, the BlackWidow V3 Pro and more. Accessory sets include the Razer Phantom Keycap Upgrade set in black and white for $35, the PBT Keycap + Coiled Cable set for $50, and the Ergonomic Wrist Rest for $20. The PBT sets are also available in Classic Black, Razer Green, Quartz, and Mercury, and the coiled cables can match the color of the set you pick. Worth noting though is that not all options will be available for all of the keyboards listed. For example, the BlackWidow V3 Mini HyperSpeed is compatible with the Razer Phantom Keycap upgrade set in black and white only. While the Huntsman Mini is compatible with those, as well as the PBT upgrade + Coiled Cable set in all colors. The Phantom keycaps also have a translucent base to let more of Razer’s Chroma RGB lighting through. Razer is already selling these accessory sets on its own website as of August 11. After September 11 Razer will begin selling the sets through retail partners and at its physical Razer store locations. If you want them now though, getting them direct from Razer is your only option.
