This isn’t a huge update, but it brings some useful changes that users will enjoy. It has the version number 12.3.05.10000, and you can download it from the Galaxy Store starting today. It comes to about 45MB in size.

What does the update to the Samsung Calendar app bring?

For starters, you now have the ability to check your group invitations via the calendar management screen. This makes the whole process that much easier. When you make a new event, the Samsung Calendar app has a feature that will set the time based on what you put in the title. If you put “Pick up laundry at 7”, the app will recognize that and set the time for 7:00. Well, with this new update, you’ll be able to remove that set time from the quick settings menu. This is in case you don’t want a reminder for that time. If you don’t want the app to recognize your times at all, then there will be the option to turn them on and off from the quick settings menu. It just makes it easier to keep from getting any automatic times. Next, there’s a new feature that will set a location for the event based on your title. If you title it something like “Go to Walmart”, then the app will set the location based on your title. It saves you a few extra steps when making your event. You’ll just need to know that these features are all in a limited number of languages. You should check out the app’s information or Samsung support page to see which languages are supported. You should also see which Galaxy phones will get this update.
