Firstly, Samsung France has published support pages for two new tablets with model numbers SM-P613 and SM-P619 on its official website. The newly-added support pages don’t reveal anything about the devices themselves but hint at an imminent launch. The latter product has also appeared on the GCF (Global Certification Forum), Bluetooth SIG (Special interest Group), and benchmark platforms Geekbench and HTML5test. The listings reveal that the SM-P619 will run Android 12 out of the box and come with LTE cellular connectivity, which could be optional. The tablet will feature 4GB of RAM and will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor with two CPU cores clocked at 2.32 GHz and six others clocked at 1.80 GHz. The new report says it is the Snapdragon 720G. The Bluetooth SIG listing confirms Bluetooth 5.0 support for the SM-P619. But oddly, it refers to the product as Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. This tablet has existed since 2020 and bears the model number SM-P610. Maybe Samsung is looking to re-launch the product with some necessary changes this year. We will likely find out soon.
A stripped-down Galaxy Tab S7 Lite could be in the works too
Along with the possible Galaxy Tab S6 Lite refresh, Samsung may also have a stripped-down Galaxy Tab S7 FE in the works. The tablet could be available in Wi-Fi (SM-T630) and 5G (SM-T636B) connectivity variants. This device could sport an 11-inch display, the new report suggests. The Galaxy Tab S7 FE has a 12.4-inch LCD screen. The fifth and final upcoming mid-range Samsung tablet that we are hearing about today bears the model number SM-T503. Not much is known about this product, but we might be looking at the 2022 refresh of the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. Based on these details, the five new mid-range tablets that Samsung could launch this year may include two Tab S Lite models (Wi-Fi and 5G), two smaller Fan Edition tablets (Wi-Fi and 5G), and a Tab A Lite model. We expect to hear more about these devices in the coming months.
