A Royal Warrant is an authorization issued to businesses by the Royal Household of the UK since the 15th century. It enables those businesses to supply goods or services to the royal family. Of course, they continue to charge for any goods and services they provide. But it’s also a matter of honor and prestige since they can advertise them holding a Royal Warrant. Royal Warrants are issued on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales in the UK. They were also issued on behalf of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh until the death of Prince Phillip last year. Samsung received its initial Royal Warrant in 2012 on behalf of Her Majesty. It has since been supplying electronics products to the Royal Household of the UK. But the warrants don’t last for eternity. If the royal personages don’t like the goods or services they are getting, they can revoke the authorization. Thankfully for Samsung, The Queen is seemingly loving its products. She doesn’t feel like switching to some other electronics supplier and has granted a renewal of the company’s Royal Warrant. Samsung may be supplying Her Majesty The Queen with smartphones, TVs, home appliances, and more electronic gadgets. Devices like the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the latest 8K Neo QLED TVs do give that “royal” feeling.

The Royal Household of the UK is loving Samsung products

Samsung is one of the largest tech companies globally and the leader in several tech industries, including smartphones. The Korean behemoth also makes TVs, home appliances, smartwatches, and various other electronics products. It has a strong presence all over the world and has a solid customer base. The Royal Household of the UK is among its customers too. Perhaps it makes products fit for royalty. “Renewing The Royal Warrant is an honor and serves as a testament to the quality of our products and services. We are proud to expand our relationship with the Royal Household particularly as this is the year of Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee,” said Brian Ford, VP of Customer Experience at Samsung UK & Ireland.
