Trusted source confirms some Galaxy S22 series colors

Having said that, he reported that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available in a Dark Red color option. He also said that all three Galaxy S22 models (including the Ultra) will arrive in Black and White options. The tipster did say that it’s still fairly early, as the launch timeframe is in January, but he did use the word “confirm”, so… we’ll consider that this information is accurate. Now, Samsung will launch three high-end devices in January, but they may not be called what you expect. The Galaxy S22 will retain its name, but the other two devices may not be the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra. Samsung is rumored to use different naming for those two devices. The Galaxy S22+ may launch as the Galaxy S22 Pro, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra may be announced as the Galaxy Note 22 Ultra.

We may only get two Galaxy S series devices in January, and one ‘Note’ handset

So, we may, technically, get only two Galaxy S smartphones in January. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is tipped to include an S Pen stylus, and a stylus dock, just like the Galaxy Note 20. Hence the possibility that Samsung may rebrand it. It does make sense, to a degree, as the Galaxy Note flagship didn’t launch this year. The Galaxy S21 Ultra did support the S Pen, but it did not ship with an S Pen dock. Its successor may change things around. These are only rumors, though, so take this information with a grain of salt. We’ll, undoubtedly, get a lot of information about all three phones as their launch timeframe gets closer. All three phones leaked extensively already, which is kind of surprising, considering it’s still September. The Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra appeared in CAD-based renders. Those images revealed that the ‘Ultra’ model will be different than the other two, from the design standpoint.
