First reported by SamMobile, the Android 12 + One UI 4 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 features the firmware version F711BXXU2BUKM. With the rollout commencing in Serbia, it’s safe to assume that other markets would follow suit over the coming days and weeks. It’s currently unclear whether the update is also reaching One UI 4 beta users in the region. Users can install the new update by navigating to Settings – Software update and hitting the download button if an update is available. In terms of changes, One UI 4 with Android 12 introduces an all-new Privacy Dashboard plus better widget options. Some Samsung-specific tweaks are coming too, so there’s plenty to look forward to with the new update.

Phones like the Galaxy Z Flip 2 and the Galaxy Note 20 could also get the One UI 4 update this month

The first One UI 4 beta for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 came in early November, while the second and third betas were sent out within a span of three weeks. The company is comfortably the fastest to rollout software, and security updates among third party OEMs, and the tradition continues with the 2021 foldables. The third and final One UI 4 beta for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Z Fold 3 introduced a handful of display-related fixes. Crucially, the company fixed a screen brightness issue that would automatically bring down the brightness to the lowest level after a reboot. Furthermore, Samsung fixed the stuttering issues experienced while unfolding the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Z Fold 3. In addition to the two 2021 foldables, a handful of other Samsung phones would get the latest update by the end of this month. These include the Galaxy S20, the Galaxy Note 20, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and the Z Flip 2. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Fold 5G, Z Flip, the Galaxy Note 10/10+, the Galaxy S20 FE, and the Galaxy S10 lineup could receive the new update in January 2022. The company’s One UI 4 update plans extend beyond June 2022. So Samsung has big plans for its vast lineup of smartphones and tablets.
