Following multiple One UI 4.0 beta builds over the past couple of months, Samsung released the stable update to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 earlier this month. But the update was anything but stable. Users faced various sorts of problems after installing the new software package, to an extent where the devices became useless. The problems were so serious that the company had to pull the update just a day after release. Earlier this week, Samsung released another One UI 4.0 beta build to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3. It likely fixed the bugs that plagued the original stable build. Now, having fixed all those issues, the company has once again released the big update to the two foldables. The former is receiving the new update with firmware version F926NKSU1BUL4 while that for the latter is F711NKSU2BUKL. Hopefully, the latest release is bug-free and doesn’t cause any issues to users.

Stable One UI 4.0 update is now live for Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3

Samsung is working hard to bring One UI 4.0 to its eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets as early as possible. It began the stable rollout last month, with the Galaxy S21 series expectedly picking up the big update first. While that rollout went smoothly, Samsung didn’t have the same success with the stable One UI 4.0 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. The new software package for the two foldables was too buggy to be called a stable build. Nonetheless, Samsung has now resumed the rollout in its homeland South Korea, which is where the company usually releases these big updates first. You can expect the Korean giant to expand the rollout to other regions in the coming days, once the new release is confirmed to be bug-free. As always, you can check for updates by navigating to Settings > Software update on your Samsung Galaxy smartphone and tapping on Download and install. Following the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, Samsung is expected to release the stable One UI 4.0 update to the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series. The likes of Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy S10, Galaxy Note 10 series will follow next. The company is currently beta testing the new software package for these phones. We will let you know when the stable rollout begins.
