The X90K was announced at CES earlier this year, and was made available over the summer. So it’s still a fairly new TV. And it’s a good one. This is a great looking TV, and has some exclusive PlayStation 5 features, so if you’re a gamer, this is the TV to get. Speaking of those exclusive PS5 features, it does have HDMI 2.1 available, for 4K/120fps gameplay. As well as VRR and ALLM. But is also features input lag that is as low as 8.5ms, and BRAVIA XR exclusive features for the PS5. There’s also Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Switch. This is an LED TV, will full array backlighting. That’s going to allow for deeper blacks, though not quite as deep as a MiniLED or OLED TV would. However, Sony does use its XR Contrast Booster 10 for real-life depth and detail on this one.
