Those of you who follow Samsung know that this is not exactly a new development. Samsung has partnered with Thom Browne several times before, in previous years. They basically re-release regular products in special edition ‘Thom Browne’ variants.
Four out of five newly-announced Samsung products got the Thom Browne treatment
The two companies have decided to partner on four out of five products Samsung announced. The Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Watch 4 Classic, and Buds 2 all come in a Thom Browne variant. You can check out all of those products in the galleries below. Thom Browne’s signature colors are included on every single product, and are combined with a white color in this particular example. We don’t know if a black-colored variant will follow or not. Not only do the products come in Thom Browne colors, but the accessories as well. For example, a special watch band is included with the Thom Browne Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. The Buds 2 case is also easily recognizable, and the same goes for the watch’s charging cradle. Samsung even made a Thom Browne case for the special edition Galaxy Z Fold 3. That case seems to be made out of leather, and you can check it out in the images below.
They even come with special Thom Browne accessories
To cut the long story short, pretty much every accessory that comes with these products has Thom Browne mark on it, and both phones and the earbuds come with a special case. All of those accessories will be included in the special edition package. In case you’re wondering if the specs are any different, no, they’re not (check out the specs for Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3). That is to be expected, though. What will be different is the price tag. First and foremost, we have to be clear on one thing, not every single of these products is sold separately. Samsung will technically sell only the Thom Browne Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, and bundled in with those two devices you’ll get other Thom Browne products we’ve talked about. You can see product families in separate galleries below. We will update this article once Samsung announces price tags, as we don’t have that info at the moment. For now, all we know is that pre-orders for the Thom Browne Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 will begin on August 11, only in “selected markets” and with “limited numbers”.
