Tipster confirms some OnePlus 11 specs that were not mentioned before

We were wondering if the OnePlus 11 will utilize the brand new UFS 4.0 flash storage, and it seems like it will. Well, at least based on the tipster’s info. It seems like quite a few Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phones may utilize UFS 4.0 flash storage, and the OnePlus 11 will be amongst the first. In addition to that, the tipster says that the phone will offer up to 16GB of RAM. The OnePlus 10 Pro featured up to 12GB of RAM, so this is also a change. Do note that it may offer up to 16GB of RAM only in China, the global model may not go as high, we’ll see. We’re not sure if this will be LPDDR5X RAM or LPDDR5 RAM, that’s not something the source shared. Considering that the UFS 4.0 flash storage is in use, we’d guess that LPDDR5X RAM will be in use. The tipster also mentioned the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, but we already knew that. OnePlus flat-out confirmed that information recently. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is Qualcomm’s brand new flagship SoC, by the way.

The OnePlus 11 will focus on design and performance, it would seem

The last piece of information that Digital Chat Station shared is that the phone will focus on design and performance. That’s not really saying much, but OnePlus’ smartphones are well-known for their great performance. When is the OnePlus 11 coming? Well, the company didn’t confirm anything just yet, but it’ll likely drop in January. That’s when the OnePlus 10 Pro arrived last year. The phone will launch in China first, and will arrive to other markets later on. The OnePlus 10 Pro launched globally in March, and it went on sale in April. The same may happen with the OnePlus 11, actually. This will be the sole flagship OnePlus will release in H1 2022, it seems.
