The JBL Bar 5.1 is a wireless surround sound system, which is a really impressive one, actually. It sports a wireless subwoofer, of course. As well as a sound bar. But there are two battery powered satellite speakers that attach to the bar, that you can put anywhere around your living room, and get surround sound. Since those satellite speakers are wireless and run on batteries, it makes it much easier to put them anywhere. They offer up 10 hours of playtime and the entire system has around 510W of power. As mentioned, there is a wireless subwoofer, this is a 10-inch subwoofer that has three HDMI inputs and can connect to 4K devices. The JBL Bar 5.1 also supports Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II and DTS. What this means is that your movies, music and even video games will never sound the same. You’ll never be able to go back to just playing video games through the speakers inside of your TV. This sound system is really going to transform your entertainment system and provide you with a really great experience. If you are one that really wants to upgrade the sound coming from your entertainment system, then this is the one to get. And where this is now under $500, it’s definitely a good time to pick one up. Especially ahead of the new JBL Bar 9.1 (announced at CES earlier this year) coming out relatively soon.
