The vanilla OnePlus 10 is “definitely coming” with truly powerful specs
According to the tipster, the device will feature a 6.7-inch fullHD+ display. This will be an LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. He did not say whether it will be flat or curved, but considering its size, we’re guessing it will be the latter. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ will fuel the phone, which is a bit odd, considering that the ‘Pro’ model comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 variant is also coming, though. The OnePlus 10 will come in both 8GB and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM options, and those two variants will include 128GB and 256GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage, respectively, it seems.
It will offer faster charging than the OnePlus 10 Pro
Android 12 was also mentioned, and OxygenOS 12 will come pre-installed on it, in the global model. A 4,800mAh battery will be included inside of the device, while 150W charging will be supported. It was also said that “fast wireless charging” will be supported. The device will include three cameras on the back, and one on the front. A 50-megapixel main camera will be accompanied by a 16-megapixel ultrawide camera. A 2-megapixel monochrome camera will also sit on the back. A single 32-megapixel camera will be included on the front. Hasselblad branding and color science will be a part of the package as well, of course. It is said that the phone will launch in the second half of the year. So, don’t expect it to arrive before July at the earliest.
Is OnePlus 10 Ultra coming in H2 2022 as well?
It is worth saying that the OnePlus 10 Ultra is also expected to arrive in the second half of the year. This vanilla model does seem to be immensely powerful, so we’re not sure where will the ‘Ultra’ fit in, unless that’s the same device. Also, the OnePlus 10 is tipped to have a truly large display, similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro, and the ‘Ultra’ is also expected to come with such a panel. It will be odd to see three flagship-grade phones, all with almost identically large displays. It’s a rather odd strategy.
